What the color palette fixer fixes

Most palettes don’t need to be thrown out. They need balance. The fixer checks the colors you already use and tells you exactly what’s off:

• Too many brights competing for attention, with no clear main color.
• Colors that clash: one too vibrant, too dark, or too light next to the rest.
• Missing neutrals: no near-white for backgrounds or near-black for text.
• Hard-to-read pairs that fail the 4.5:1 contrast body text needs.
• No roles, so nobody knows which color is the hero, the accent, or the text.

Fix a palette in about a minute

1. Paste your colors. Hex codes, a CSS block, or a Coolors link. Up to 10 colors. Lock your signature brand color so it never changes.
2. Read the health score. Ten checks turn into one number, with a plain-language note for every miss.
3. Apply the fixes. Each flagged color shows current next to suggested, and whether the change is contrast-safe. Apply one, dismiss one, or choose Apply all fixes.
4. Assign roles and use it. Pick hero, accent, light neutral, and dark neutral, then send the palette to the editor for light and dark themes and export.

Can it fix a palette from Coolors or Adobe Color?

Yes. Paste the Coolors link or the hex codes and the fixer reads them directly.

Will it change my brand color?

No. The first color starts locked, and you can lock any other color. Fixes only touch unlocked colors.

How is this different from a palette generator?

A generator gives you new colors. The fixer starts from the colors you already have, finds what’s off, and repairs it so you don’t have to start over.

Does a passing score mean my site is accessible?

No. The contrast checks cover solid-color pairs against WCAG’s 4.5:1 and 3:1 thresholds. Test the final theme in your real screens too.
